Happy New Year - 28 Weeks

Happy New Year to everyone. The past month has been quite busy for us as we traveled together to Atlanta and Harrisville for Christmas with family, followed by a trip to Abu Dhabi for Josh and a trip to Memphis for Lauren. We were very fortunate to see much of our family and friends over the last month. We pray that 2011 will be a great year for us in many ways. We are now at 28 weeks and less than 3 short months until Chandler's arrival...WOW!

In addition to the normal Christmas activities, we were blessed with a great baby shower back home in Mississippi. We were thrilled to see everyone who came, including many of our extended family, church family and friends. A huge Thank You also goes out to everyone involved in planning the shower, including Granny Faye, Aunt Norine, Mom Julie and anyone else who helped in planning and preparing the shower. We received so many great things for Chandler and were happy that all of it fit in the Jeep for the drive back to Miami with Lauren and Glenna (thanks Glenna for tagging along and spending a few days here in Miami with Lauren while I was gone!). We are also so thankful for gifts for Chandler from our family and friends who were not at the shower...we are truly blessed to have so many great people in our lives'.  Chandler is starting to get stocked up with many things, including a bassinet, bathing tub, lots of clothes & bibs, blankets, toys, diapers, bottles and all the other essentials. Thank you again to everyone!

We saw the doctor this past Friday and everything continues to look great from their standpoint, so nothing really to report there. We have now met four of the five doctors in our "group" and have had great experiences with each of them, which makes us comfortable going forward with whomever is in the delivery room when Chandler joins us. We will go have another ultrasound in about three weeks, which will be our first look at Chandler in quite a while. We are excited to see how much bigger he has gotten. We are hopeful to be able to do a 3-D ultrasound.
