...and now a word from Chandler

Dear Family & Friends,

I know you are all anxious for my arrival and I appreciate all the excitement.  And I know that my mom will be glad when I am no longer kicking or punching her in the ribs.  But the other day I was minding my own business (for once), when y'all decided to pry into my safe haven yet again.  I opened my eyes to double check and yup - there was that crazy 3D camera and somebody poking & prodding.  

It's not that I don't appreciate all the love and support; however, I would appreciate it if you leave me be for a few more weeks until I am ready to show the world my cute little face.  Didn't your parents teach you patience?  So until then - this is what I think of your desire for more pictures...

I look forward to meeting each and every one of you once I am ready.  You've waited 33 weeks so far, I don't think a few more will kill you.

Special shout out to soon-to-be Aunt Claire on her b-day.  Can't wait until the day when we can celebrate birthdays together again!

Chandler Lee Harris - 3D

We had our first ultrasound appointment since October on Monday, so we were anxious to see how much Chandler had developed since then. We were thrilled that the three most common words that our technician used over and over were "beautiful", "excellent" and "perfect." He said that all the measurements were right on schedule and he was positioned well for delivery in about 9 weeks.

We were able to get some 3D pictures, but Chandler was not very cooperative with how much of his face he wanted to show us, so mostly we got profile pics. But, it was so cool to see how his eyes, nose, mouth and cheeks are developing.  Here are two of the pictures we have to share with you.

We go back to the doctor for a checkup on February 9th and we are going to swing back by to see the ultrasound tech that day. If Chandler is moving around more, we might be able to get some more pictures. If so, we will definitely share them with you. 

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We also want to send out congrats to our good friends Ryan & April Bucher, who were able to bring their little boy, Caleb George Bucher, home on Monday. We know they are so excited and we can't wait to go over and meet Caleb in the next few days.
